The Cisco Universal Gateway AS5350 supports a wide range of value added Internet Protocol based services such as high-volume Internet access, regional / branch-office connectivity, corporate VPNs, long distance for ISPs, international long distance calling, enhanced dialing and voice services and IP teleconferencing. This gateway supports latest modem standards like V.92 and V.44.
ASAP
The Cisco ASAP architecture enables the Cisco AS5350 Universal Gateway to operate simultaneously as a Network Access Server and a Voice Gateway, delivering universal services on any port at any time. Universal port access infrastructure in this type of gateway is only possible due to the ASAP feature.
